Patronage & Charities


A number of charities benefit from the interest of the Lieutenant-Governor and his partner Visiting the Guernsey Nerine Festival Displays a larger version of this image in a new browser window supporting and encouraging public and voluntary service and interest groups within our community that promote the Bailiwick's unique character.  This is achieved through the Patronage of various local charities and other organisations.

Patronages last for the duration of each Lieutenant-Governor's tenure and are taken on at his discretion.

Many of the charities previously under the patronage of Sir Ian and Lady Corder will have already or will be contacted shortly to consider the future of the involvement of Lieutenant-General Cripwell or Mrs Cripwell when they arrive to take up residence at Government House early in the New Year.
