Guernsey Southern Agricultural & Horticultural Society
The Guernsey Southern Agricultural and Horticultural Society was founded in 1909 to encourage horticulture, agriculture, poultry keeping and artisan crafts and other interests in the parishes of St Peter Port, St Martin, St Andrew and Forest. It does this with an Annual Show in August held at the Professor Shaw Community Centre, St Martin. A Horse Event is also organised each Summer. The Show has changed over the years so that now we have only classes for horticulture, cookery and arts & crafts, plus stalls and entertainment. We welcome entries from children and adults resident in the four parishes.
