A Good Deed for the Day

On Tuesday, Lady Corder was joined by long serving members of the Guernsey Voluntary Service for a presentation of awards at Government House.

The awards were presented in three categories:  Silver for 15 years loyal and dedicated service, Gold for 20 years loyal and dedicated service, and a special award for those who have served 30 years.

Between them, the recipients have carried out a wide range of duties, including:

- Volunteering at the Jubilee and Russels Day Centres;
- Transporting clients to and from the Centres;
- Helping with fundraising and flag days;
- Involvement with the Meals on Wheels scheme;
