Parkinson's Guernsey LBG

On the evening of Wednesday 6th October 2020 Lady Corder, as Patron, launched new local charity 'Parkinson's Guernsey LBG' at Government House. 

Dr Corral Smith, Trustee and Chair of the Board, spoke to those gathered about the complexity of the condition, and plans of how the Charity will raise awareness and understanding within the local community.

Those who attended were a mix of service-users, Trustees and those with a possible interest in the Charity.  Nicole Perrio added to the occasion by performing a selection of music on the violin.

This is the Island's first local Parkinson's charity, and the group aim to provide support for those with Parkinson's and to raise the profile of the condition closer to home.
