Anniversary Tea Party

There was happy buzz about the ballroom as a bumper afternoon of guests arrived for the last of the Anniversary Tea parties held by Sir Ian and Lady Corder. 

Islanders celebrating their 60th or 70th Wedding Anniversaries or their 100th Birthdays were once again invited, alongside a member of their family, to an afternoon tea at Government House. 

Each of the sets of guests or their family member had been asked for a brief biography of their lives from which His Excellency can read excerpts to the guests as they all enjoy their tea and cakes.
