The Jubilee Day Centre

Very few things have been allowed to get in the way of Lady Corder volunteering at the Jubilee Day Centre every Tuesday morning. Both this establishment and the Russels Day Centre are run by the Guernsey Voluntary Service and provide a warm welcome with lunch and refreshments, activities and entertainment for the elderly in our community.

The third sector in our island is a huge contributor to the welfare of so many pockets of people in our island and the volunteers who keep them going are the angels we rely upon. 

Lady Corder will greatly miss the friends she has made there and the lively and generous spirit of the people of Guernsey.
