GSPCA

The Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or GSPCA was founded in 1873 to help prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals.  We help in excess of 3000 animals every year. With 300+ animals at the Animal Shelter in St Andrews the GSPCA works 24/7 rescuing, caring for, rehabilitating, rehoming, hand rearing and releasing to the wild Guernsey animals, as well as serving the community in many ways from education to assisting those in need.  To run the GSPCA costs over £1600 a day which needs to be raised locally through the support of the local community.
