Long Service Awards for the GVS

As patron of the GVS, Lady Cripwell was delighted to be asked to present the awards for Long Service, enabling her to meet so many of the wonderful volunteers who give of their time so freely to help with the activities.

Last year was a bit of a nightmare as Lady Cripwell found herself called away to the UK last minute and His Excellency offered to stand in and then found himself stuck in Sark due to the weather. Deputy Bailiff Jessica Roland was kind enough to step in at the last moment for which we were most grateful. 

This year, hopefully things will go more smoothly for the 16 recipients due to receive their Long Service Awards this year.
