Patronage & Charities

A number of charities benefit from the interest of the Lieutenant-Governor and his partner supporting and encouraging public and voluntary service and interest groups within our community that promote the Bailiwick's unique character.  This is achieved through the Patronage of various local charities and other organisations.

Patronages last for the duration of each Lieutenant-Governor's tenure and are taken on at his discretion.

Charities wishing to invite the new Lieutenant-Governor and/or his wife to consider patronage should complete one of the following
(Patronage Application (Lieutenant-Governor), Patronage Application (Mrs Cripwell)) and send to:

Office of the Lieutenant-Governor
Government House
The Queen's Road
St Peter Port
GY1 1GH
Email:  [email protected]

Mrs Cripwell visited Plant Heritage as their patron and she is seen here receiving a nerine named after her from Vice Chairman, Andrew Lanoe
