Lieutenant General Coleman's Daughter Visits Government House

It was wonderful to host the daughter of Lieutenant General Sir Charles Coleman KCB CMG DSO OBE, Mrs Anne Andrews, and her family, at Government House today.  Lieutenant General Coleman was the 111th Lieutenant-Governor of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, serving from 1964 to 1969.  Mrs Andrews was married whilst her father was Lieutenant-Governor so she was able to hold her wedding reception at Government House.

His Excellency gave her and her family a tour of the house and grounds where Mrs Andrews was able to point out how things had changed over time.  Upon his death Lieutenant General Coleman's medals were kindly bequeathed to Government House where they are proudly displayed outside the library.
