Remembrance
His Excellency with visiting German Officers at the Fort George military cemetery for the service of remembrance in 2024.
The 2025 wreath laying and service will being at 10.30am on Saturday 8th November and will begin at the British memorial before the entire party moves down to the German memorial.
There will 13 German Officers attending in uniform on this occasion led by Lt Col Kevin Siegherth, from HQ ARRC and will be joined by The Bailiff, RBL President Ben Rowe, the Chief Minister, Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez and CO Commander Graeme Hazelwood from HMS Daring.
His Excellency will attend the service for Remembrance Sunday on 9 November. It will begin with a bugler sounding the Last Post at 10.58am prior to a two-minute silence at 11am.
The wreath laying and a short service will then follow.
The parade will start at the Town Fire States at 10.30am with ex-service men and women, the cadets forces and standards from local organisations. They will be joined by members of the Royal Court, visiting German Officers
