Team GH heading to Sark

Following on from the enormously successful and well-received move to Alderney for a week in May 2023, His Excellency has suggested we repeat the exercise in Sark. The smaller islands are as much a part of the Bailiwick as Guernsey and it is important to ensure the residents feel they get a much attention as the Lieutenant-Governor is able to apportion them. 

His Excellency and Mrs Cripwell will host a drinks reception at the Island Hall, open to all the island residents on the Tuesday evening, there will also be a dinner party for Sark VIP's catered at the house being rented and another informal supper for invited guests.

In addition to hosting social engagements, His Excellency will formally open the Sark Art Gallery and Museum and present medals to some members of the Sark Emergency services. He will also be meeting with several members of the island who are involved in various aspects of the island community.

Finally, on the Saturday, there will be a cricket match at the Millenium Field featuring the Lt-Governor's 11 - members of the Guernsey Cricket Club vs the Sark Cricket Team.
